TLDR: The second, and final, week of the JuiceDB Thanksgiveaway starts today. Two ways to enter, two more chances to win, tons of juice from ECR’s favorite vendors. Enter once now by leaving a comment in this thread (what juice was your first ADV?) then enter as many times as you want by writing reviews on JuiceDB!
Week 2 of our epic two-week giveaway starts today, with the following giveaways:
You are free to enter and win prizes from both giveaways each week, but you can only win one prize package from each prize pool.
Listed below you’ll find information about both giveaways we’re running and we have an entire section of our website built to give you information:
How to Enter: Just write a review of a juice or business on JuiceDB.com! I’m sure lots of you have a bunch of new flavors you got on sale, why not review them all for more chances to win?
It’s not required, but we’d really appreciate it if you could add flavor tags on each of your juice reviews. We’re transitioning from our generalized Flavor Profile system to a much more specific (and useful) Flavor Tag system. But we still have a lot of data to collect before we can fully take advantage of it, and there are a lot of juices without any Flavor Tags at all. While the ratings and reviews themselves are the most interesting content, a robust Flavor Tag database lets us do even cooler stuff with your review data, like matching juices with similar flavors.
We have a full list of prizes for both giveaways available on our giveaway page!
The Fine Print
How to Enter: Leave a comment on our reddit thread and take this opportunity to tell the community what juice was your first ADV! Maybe it’s something you used to really like on your ego or something you’re still loyal to today. Whatever it is, we wanna hear about it!
Our experimental /u/juicedb_bot is here for round 2. The bot is here to help others learn more about those juices you find exciting. As you post your comment, each time you mention a juice name, put it in double brackets like so:
[[ Juice Name by Brand Name ]]
Our bot will respond and provide a link and information so that everyone reading the comments doesn’t have to google the juice name to find more information! It will also monitor the status of the comment, and each time you edit your post it will update it’s response with any new information it has.
We have a full list of prizes for Week 2 of both giveaways available on our giveaway page, and below are the prize packages we’re giving away for Week 2 here on reddit!
The Fine Print
Below are blurbs about every single one of our Week 2 sponsors, assembled by our website team, /u/sc0lm00 and /u/wump. Most of these musings are from their own personal experience with the vendors, but even those they don’t yet know first-hand are influenced by their deep knowledge of the vape market. You can do your own independent verification of their level of expertise by reading all 652 of their combined JuiceDB reviews!
Week 2 Sponsors
Centerfold Vape Co. - You Redditors know, 2015 was a good year for Centerfold. They went from opening up in March to being a Reddit household name and for good reason. Their flavors are extremely solid and well crafted. Sammie is one of the best cereal vapes ever IMO, Bombshell is uniquely tropical, and Jinx is the best key lime flavor I’ve tried. They’ve been wanting to sponsor a JuiceDB giveaway for a while and we just weren’t ready. Hopefully it won’t be their last.
DB Liquids - DB has been around for as long as I’ve been vaping. Always putting up giveaways and adding new flavors once they’ve been mastered. Back in the day when tea flavors were mentioned so was DB. They have a couple new flavors in their Gem line and previous to that they released the Warriors line. Sir Cantwood was a strange but enjoyable cantaloupe tobacco flavor and Jackie Tarr is a fantastic apple pie chai that made it’s way onto a very short list of apple flavors I enjoy.
Downtown Vapes - DTV has a solid lineup of the most popular flavors you could want. Mountain Dew(s), custard, cereal, fruit blends, etc. I hear good things about their Alien Throat Punch and they have a seasonal ginger bread and pumpkin flavor. They carry a some premium brands like The Schwartz and I love Donuts and have a B&M in Florida you should check out if in the area.
High Stakes Vapor - High Stakes religiously sponsors ECR Poker and frequently has giveaways on ECR. While relatively new to ECR I have heard nothing but great things about them. /u/Veroden sings their praises and after reading enough of her reviews on JuiceDB to know she’s well versed in juices, I definitely need to add them to my must try list. Their new Kitchen Game line hits all the marks for interesting and popular flavors.
Jvapes - Jvapes is a B&M out of Arizona that has been in the industry for quite some time as well. They’re a member of AEMSA, have a nice hardware selection, and a large line of their own liquids to boot. Their Yellow Sub flavor garnered some high praise on our site and graced high up on our top juices list for a while back in 2014.
Keystone Vapor - As die hard hockey lovers, Keystone is often seen holding giveaways for hating on rival teams and mocking those who like them in good fun. They’ve sponsored one of our monthly posts before and in general have been vocal supporters of us for a while with their customers. In 2014 their Dutch Chocolate Milk was always recommended and they have a whole slew of other flavors highly rated on JuiceDB you can’t go wrong with. They currently have a Holiday Box special of 200ml for $55 and a chance to win some hardware with each box.
Rasta Vapors - Rasta is another oldie but goodie that has been around since I started vaping and have a great theme and artwork for their brand. They’ve been supporters of JuiceDB for a long time and sponsored one of our JuiceDB monthly posts last year. They cyber monday sale for 30% is still going on and their newest addition is The Viscid Collection; which is a great mix of flavors in Max VG to suit all your dripping needs.
Seduce Juice - You never forget your first love. When I found Snake Oil I knew I would never go back to smoking and for a long time was the only flavor I bought in large quantities. They have a great sampler and having tried 95% of their entire line I would recommend them to anyone. Their whole lineup is solid and they’ve recently branched out into other premium brands. Seduce hails from Charlotte and the Charlotte Vapes B&M. How about a 750ml wine bottle or a 1892ml jug? Their newest flavors are Magnum Opus, Immaculata, returning seasonal favorite Peppermocha Latte, and new season pumpkin donut Sasquash.
TBD Liquids - John at TBD is an all around great guy and on top of that makes stellar juice. He releases flavors that are fantastic and then manages to improve them further and release new versions. Strawberry Milk v2 opened my eyes to the whole strawberry milk group and after multiple orders have yet to be disappointed with anything. You only need to view their juices page on JuiceDB to see how highly regarded they are. If TBD sells a juice it’s because they nailed it.
The Vape Kitchen - TVK is definitely worthy of the premium or gourmet moniker. I’ve met Mai and Chef Oren at a few conventions and they are both always a joy. Chef Oren is a wizard of mixing that is constantly pushing the envelope of mixing innovation with their house extractions of saffron, Guiness, tobacco, or any other flavor they seem to want. They have won several awards for flavors and have some of the most unique flavors you will find anywhere.like their new Opus line we recently reviewed. I highly recommend checking out their B&M in California or pampering yourself with some of their juice.
