Pear Almond by Ripe Vapes
Pear-Almond- Envoking the polished pastries of Europe. This joose has the bold, rich flavor of marzipan with notes of ripe/aromatic summer pear. If you closed your eyes and imagined, one might easily find themselves strolling the old cobblestone streets of Paris….. Happy Travels.
What a shame! This juice appears to have been discontinued and it's a sad day because it was by far the greatest lemon-themed ejuice ever made. Perfect pairing for margaritas, lemon drop martinis, or iced tea. What made it so perfect was the lemon came through clear and strong, but never in a "Lemon Pledge" kind of way like EVERY other lemony juice out there. The subtle backdrop of basil and coconut were expertly blended for a truly complex, gorgeous flavor. I'm in mourning! Please bring this stellar eliquid back to the fold, Ripe Vapes!
Will likely reorder.
I'm on the verge of finishing a 120 mL bottle of Ripe Vapes' VCT and saw it prominently featured in an ad on eLiquid, making me feel "in the know". Like, “Cool, I have food taste, can’t you see?!”
To be candid, I bought it in a pinch while travelling without so much as a sample. By the JuiceDB score guidelines, it's worth ordering, but also above average with some faults. It's a reliable vape-of-the-line. It's comfortable and gets the job done. I'm not quite sure if it's reached "old friend" status with me, or capable of that, but I will miss it when it's gone. So that's my impression.
The flavors inherent are well-conceived; I also did steep this juice. I am quite sure there are many fans with more favorable views. It's something you want in your juice crate, it's a first-string.
It's not bad, not particularly good, it's just nothing special. Your run of the mill "tobacco" flavor with some hazelnut or some other kind of nutty flavor in the background. The tobacco is not a rich tobacco but a generic "what the hell is that flavor" kind of tobacco.
If there is a custard here I can't taste it at all. Same with the vanilla. All I get is that generic tobacco flavor with some nuttiness. It's not particularly fun to vape this juice so I'm going to put it in the closet, let it steep for a few months and revisit it. If anything changes I'll update my review but I highly doubt it will. I've had this sort of flavor before and this is usually as good as it gets.
If you want a FARRRRRR better version of this type of flavor check out Vgod's Cubano Black. It has a much richer tobacco (like a cigar, and you can taste it), a nice custard element and a pleasing level of sweetness. Their regular Cubano (the brown one) is decent but average, and reminds me of this VTC juice from Ripe Vapes because it has that undefined generic "tobacco" flavoring in it too.
All in all, nothing special. Maybe if I had never tried Cubano Black I'd rate this a 3 but on juiceDB a three means it's above average, which VTC is not in my opinion. It is the epitome of average.

Tasted quite perfume-y to me.
Almost like Old Spice cologne with generic vanilla custard flavoring on the exhale.
This is a big hit at my local B&M, but I just don't see it. There are several creamy dessert tobaccos that blow VCT out of the water.

I got a bottle of VCT for free as a promo in my order from Breazy.com (if you haven’t heard of them or checked them out you should, great juice vendor with lots of sales and promos) I do not use tobacco flavor juices and never had even tried one before this one. I had the bottle around for a while hoping to give it to someone who would use it, and never found anyone so I figured why not try it out. It actually wasn’t bad at all. I’m still not interested in tobacco flavors, but if I were I would use this. It’s a smooth vanilla and tobacco flavor just like they claim. The tobacco flavor isn’t overpowering, you can taste it very much but that vanilla mellows it out so that it’s not too rich or strong. I did taste a bit of a nuttiness at the exhale and it brought all the flavors together nicely. If you like tobacco and creamy vanilla flavors I would suggest checking this one out. I have had other Ripe Vapes flavors and they are all very accurate and good quality. I had a small issue once with a bottle from Ripe Vapes and they sent me a bottle on the house of my choice to make it right with me. Very good company to do business with and the people there care about quality and their customers.

In my personal spreadsheet I've graded all eight Ripe Vapes flavors to date (April 2017) with a B except Pear Almond. That one's just a C. I love their experiments with out of the ordinary flavor combinations. I love their consistent high quality even more. One of the very few brands where I'd dare to order a new flavor in 120ml.
Ripe Vapes is a great company to do business with. I have liked all of the juices that I’ve tried from them, and they produce some very accurate flavored juices. Every juice I’ve had has tasted true to their description, which I really appreciate. I like how their juices are stronger on the flavor and not smothered in sweeteners. I was very happy with their customer service the one time I did have to contact them. It wasn’t a big issue at all, and they sent me a free bottle of my choice to make it right with me, even though I told them it really wasn’t a big deal and they didn’t have to do that. They told me they would be happy to do it and sent it right out! I was impressed, and thought they were extremely nice. They make a killer Key Lime Cookie flavor and a very nice Pear Almond too. They are both flavorful and tasty. If you have been wanting to try them out and haven’t taken the plunge yet, you should!
This is some high quality juice. I would recommend finding a shop that carries it so you can taste it, then order in bulk from their website. The price point is high but the juice is worth it. VCT is one of my favorite juices I have ever tried. The shop I found this in sold 30 ml for 27$, online you can get 120 ml for 65.99, which is semi-reasonable if you know you will enjoy it for high quality juice. Give you a born on date, and carry some juices steeped in oak barrels for 60 days as well. Find a shop to test-buy online.
