Finally getting back to the sampler I received way back nearly six months ago. Exotic Cactus is next and it smells great.
Popping the cap, I smell a ton of fruit. Mostly pear, banana, maybe some dragonfruit, and hints of cactus. On the inhale, I think I like cactus flavor. Delectable cactus is present pairing up with a pretty good fresh pear taste and a slight hint of dragonfruit. The cactus isn't as floral as others make it out to be, but is a little bit. Reminds me of a few fruit tea juices I've had before which tend to be on the more floral side. Perhaps the extended steep helped out with that. Halfway through, the fruit really starts to blend and its harder to distinguish between them all. It also becomes a bit sweeter, which I would assume to be a bit of banana, almost candied. On the exhale, The blend continues and the cactus is tasting nicely in the background. Really tastes like a delicious fruit tea at this point. The aftertaste is more along the lines of what I assume Snapple Rain would taste like. Tastes like I just finished a drink. Very complex, full bodied, exotic fruit vape that I really quite enjoy. The only con is that I found the flavor slightly muted, which I'm just attributing to the Max VG content.
Clouds out a room something fierce. I had the 92% VG blend, and produces like it should. I'm sure 70% VG would make the flavor pop a bit more, so I may have to try that one out. Throat hit is just below middle ground. It has a slight punch after chiefing a bit, and if it sits in the RDA for a bit. I had this on a reg mod starting out at about 90w, but it was hard to distinguish the flavors as I felt the lack of a power curve caused it. Threw it on the Admiral, and really started to enjoy it. 0.15ohm SS coils on it ramped up just a bit slower and but hit hard after a second and that's what I liked. I'm calculating the wattage on the mech between 110w-80w slowly dropping.
I surprisingly really enjoyed this one. It's a fresh flavor that I haven't really experienced yet, and it is really growing on me. I most likely will order again and play around with the VG/PG blends.
