I want to start this review by pointing out that I’ve been after some good candy vapes for quite a while, but seem to have pretty bad luck. For the most part, I find that they all leave me with a stubborn alcohol aftertaste. While I’ve heard from a number of people that you can let the bottle breathe to get rid of the alcohol taste, I’ve also heard that this diminishes the overall flavoring of the juice. However, I’ve only attempted this with one bottle so far (which is still on my shelf breathing) so I can’t say whether or not this is true. That being said, this review is based on a fresh cracked bottle of White Gummy by Frugi Vapors.
I started out by running this juice in my Uwell Valyrian with a fresh coil at .15 ohms and 93 watts. I was a little nervous to try this in fear of coming across that alcohol taste, but the first thing I’m going to have to say about this juice is that it has ZERO alcohol aftertaste. I thought maybe the taste would come out at a higher wattage, so after upping it to 120 watts I can confidently say it has no alcohol taste – so 3 points in my books! However, the one thing that’s killing me about this juice is that it isn’t screaming White Gummy to me. It’s incredibly smooth with fruity flavors of what I’m guessing to be Apple and Pear, but the only thing that’s reminding me of a candy about this juice is the texture it leaves in your mouth, similar to that waxy texture you’d get if you ate a handful of Swedish Berries. To be sure I was really tasting the juice, I then dripped it on my VGOD Pro Drip RDA wicked with Kendo Cotton at 80 watts. I got a little bit more of the texture out of the dripper, but still a very fruity base. After finishing a tank in the Valyrian I concluded that it’s a nice fruity vape, but very subtle on the flavor. I definitely have a preference towards the more “in your face” flavors so I don’t know that this bottle particularly cut it for me. It doesn’t have much of a lingering flavor, and the flavor itself wasn’t exactly what I was looking for when I was after a candy ejuice. I can see this being enjoyed by fruity vapers who might be after something more on the sweets side. As an overall rating, I’ll give this juice a 6/10. It isn’t a bad vape, it’s just too light in flavor for my liking and doesn’t really fit the flavor profile the way I was hoping it would. In a coil that had been used with another flavor, I can see how this flavor might get drowned out.
