I like trying out some new flavors during sales so I placed an order with Mixotic over the 4th sales as they have a good flavor menu in my opinion. I've been enjoying dragon fruit blends so wanted to give this one a shot. It's pretty risky ordering juice from new vendors that don't have many or any reviews but I can say that I don't regret this purchase.
The smell from this bottle is heavenly, and exactly what you'd expect from the description. A bright and fresh medley of berries and fruit mixed with a nice vanilla creaminess.
Vaping it thankfully is very much akin to that as well. The fruit is very natural and bright, and the mixture of blueberries, raspberries and dragon fruit works so well. I'm not getting any synthetic taste from the raspberry which is surprising and appreciated. I don't feel that any of the fruit flavors are truly dominant but for me I could probably taste the blueberry the most. The dragon fruit isn't as prominent as I was hoping, but it's still enjoyable. It has a brighter, crisper mixed berry feel to it overall - very juicy and not as dark as other mixed berry flavors I've tried. There is just a very slight syrupy taste to this but nothing that detracts. The vanilla is mixed in here so well, it adds just a nice warm creaminess to the sweet fruits without turning this into a dessert flavor completely. It does have some slight resemblance to a jelly donut I'd say, in an interesting way. Regardless it's a great mix, no added sweeteners that I can detect, and the cloud production is very surprising for a 70/30 blend.
My criticisms on this would be that at the start there was a bit of a throat hit. After shaking the bottle a bunch and breaking in the wicks a bit it subsided, but it was pretty harsh at first. However, also after vaping this a while the fruit flavor started to feel muted to me which was unfortunate as it is so good when you first fill the tank. I started to taste the vanilla more and less of the fruit. It was still pleasant, but it lost some of it's luster for me the more I vaped on it. There is also a bit of dryness that comes after the exhale which isn't a huge deal for me but at the same time I'd prefer if that wasn't the case.
Overall though - a quality blend, mixed very well and the flavor is darn good. The flavor intensity I'd give a 5 out of 10, it's good for this blend though as stated I wished the fruits would have kept their presence more throughout.
I personally wouldn't purchase this one again, but am happy to have tried it and will finish the bottle. If you like fruity creams this one is well done and comes with a nice price tag of $15 for a 60ml which isn't outrageous.
