"...smooth blend of sweet creams, butterscotch, and brown sugar."
Creamy brown sugar inhale, exhale is a nice blend of all 3.
I do get the vanilla custard vibe even though neither vanilla, nor custard are in the description. You don't have the mouthfeel you get with a lot of quality custards though and while there is some buttery flavor here from the butterscotch, it's never so strong that I thought I was vaping a custard.
The butterscotch and brown sugar combine to almost a caramelized sugar flavor. Like you would find on a brulee. It's drenched in the cream to the point that it even overshadows the brown sugar at times. That's alotta cream.
The flavor is enjoyable in short bursts. For my palate, it's too sweet and too rich. It needs something to cut through the cream but I really can't think of anything to go in this. The vapor is fantastic. Little to no throat hit.
For my money, Claim Your Throne isn't really worth the price tag. Extremely similar flavors can be found a lot of shops for under the $12/15ml mark and while the quality here is excellent, it's not so singular that you need to get the profile from King's Crown. But if you're not on a budget, this is worth a try if you're into what Claim Your Throne is about. $12/15ml isn't actually that expensive anymore; mid-high I would say but I try and stick with $8-10 most of the time.
