This juice is a revelation for anyone who loves menthol and minty vapor liquids. Just to be clear, there is NO menthol in this juice. It actually uses a relatively-unknown flavor, Eucalpytus. You may know what Eucalyptus leaves are (koalas eat them), but the only contact you've probably had with Eucalyptus in real life is cough drops, many of which contain menthol-eucalyptus combinations to soothe and cool sore throats.

I personally enjoy the cooling sharpness and unique profile of menthol as a backing note, but I hate strong menthols and poorly crafted minty juices where the amount of menthol/mint overwhelms any other flavor. Let me assure you: This juice is the polar (heh) opposite of that.

It's a delicious, soothing, perfectly-calibrated experience in cooling refreshment. On the inhale you get the flash of minty cold that's similar to low-moderate menthol levels, but unlike menthol, it's smooth instead of harsh, and dissipates rapidly into a mild 'green' sort of flavor. On the exhale, the coolness remains, and the honeydew melon flavoring takes the center-stage, blending with the cool green eucalyptus to create an entirely unique, highly addictive sensation.

Not only is this flavor a must-have for menthol lovers, it's also THE ticket for anyone suffering from vaper's tongue, or worse, vaping their way through a head cold or sore through. Nothing clears the sinuses like Eucalpytus while simultaneously soothing irritated airways. Thanks to this revelation from B-X Vapor, I actually mixed up my own liquid inspired by this last time I got sick -- besides the touch of eucalyptus, I used only PG-free natural organic Medicine Flower Honeydew & a touch of saline to moisturize my throat. It worked AMAZINGLY well, and even if you don't enjoy menthol flavors, I cannot over-emphasize how useful this juice is if you're sick and can't vape or taste flavors. Try it out -- it's like Vick's VaporRub for your lungs, only delicious!

Also, B-X Vapor is a community-born juice vendor who participates actively in the DIY mixing scene, and shares ideas and mixing tips with peers freely. His juice is priced far below the price it's worth, his mixing is creative and innovative, and his customer service is superior. Community-oriented, talented little-guy mixers like this deserve a fair shot, and your lungs and wallet will thank you for trying his mixes.

For a long time I never thought I'd have any uses for a menthol/minty type vape. I'm just not big on them. Fast forward to a few months later and I finally found a use for them. Awhile back I used another menthol based juice to get me over a head cold. I used up my entire bottle that had been sitting in my drawer for months, likely to never get used again if it hadn't been for the soothing effect it had on my sinuses. I liked that other flavor, but I thought I'd get something with a little more menthol kick. So I began to look at Reddit to see which flavors are best for head colds and it seemed to be the consensus that Melonlyptus is the one to get. I bought it and have been saving it up for the last few months or so without trying it. I haven't yet had a head cold since I got the bottle, so I haven't reviewed it yet. Anyway, I got curious enough and wanted to try something a little different, so decided to taste it to write the review. Now that the backstory is done, on to the review...

Melonlyptus is, I imagine because I haven't had a head cold since I bought it, even better than the juice I used for my last cold primarily because the menthol is significantly stronger. It cleared my allergy ridden sinus' right up. The eucalyptus is by far the flavor most present upfront--it sort of reminds me of a Halls cough drop, but slightly better tasting. At lower temps the watermelon makes an appearance, although being very light, near the end of the inhale and extends all the way through the exhale. The watermelon is light and sweet, adding a little something extra that I think a straight menthol would have missing. At higher temps, around 475F, the watermelon comes out a bit more and the menthol hits, and almost tickles, the back of the throat quite a bit more. Melonlyptus is not something I'd ever have imagined I could vape all day before I purchased it, as I bought it only to serve as sinus relief during cold season. But after finally trying Melonlyptus after a long steep, I might be open to adding it to the ADV rotation. It'll be something I'll definitely repurchase whether I ADV or not, because at some point that ugly cold season will rear its head and force my hand in reaching for the bottle for relief.

Whether you like menthol vapes, just want some relief during cold season, or are just curious about menthol flavors more generally Melonlyptus is a great flavor to give a try. I'll likely be picking up another bottle myself during the Thanksgiving/Black Friday sales.

The absolute best menthol I've ever had: It's strong but not obnoxiously so, and man is it ever a relief when you get a sinus cold! I always have this on standby and recommend it without reservation. The menthol truly tastes like a branch of eucalyptus and the melon is super subtle, making the overall profile very smooth and tasty.
