True North is an interesting concoction of juicy pear and mentholated herbs. This is the iced version of another juice, Top Sail, which I have not tried. The pear in here is really nice. It's juicy with a very natural taste and sweetness. It's like a super ripe pear and it almost has the texture to match. The menthol isnt overpowering, but brings a pleasant coolness to the mix. The herbs are what really make this juice stand out to me. They have an earthy and grassy flavor that mixes with the menthol. The herbal flavor works surprisingly well with the pear to create a pretty unique experience. The inhale begins with the pear upfront. It's sweet and juicy with a building coolness. The menthol gives a little bit of added throat hit, but nothing too harsh. There are hints of herbs on the backend as well. The exhale begins with bright grassy herbs combined with menthol. It's a rather unique flavor. The sweet pear comes out from underneath midway through and retains a nice coolness. The menthol has a cooling tingle on the way out. I'm left with the taste of lightly sweet pear and herbal menthol. The cooling from the menthol hangs around for a good while.
Overall I find myself strangely drawn to True North. I think it's the herbs that do it for me. The delicious pear is great and the herbal menthol adds an interesting layer of depth. It's an odd combination that actually works. It's sweet, juicy, earthy and cool with each component playing off the next. A rather unique juice that is a departure from the norm. 2ohm6 does different well and True North is no exception.
