Dragon's Milk is a spectacular creamy dragonfruit and strawberry juice. The cream base is velvety smooth and rather luxurious, and the fruits ride atop it beautifully. No flavor overpowers another, rather each element works in harmony and plays its role perfectly. Both the dragonfruit and strawberry flavors are quite well done. The dragonfruit is sweet, creamy and slightly tart, while the strawberry has a very ripe sweetness. The flavor intensity is a notch above mid range, which I feel works perfectly. The mouthfeel has a luscious creaminess and fullness to it. It's really quite excellent. The inhale is a creamy dragonfruit. It starts off sweet and a bit of tartness begins to intermingle midway through. The cream builds a thickness on the backend. The exhale is velvety smooth sweet cream and strawberry. The cream has a really nice flavor to it, and is fairly evenly matched with the sweet strawberry. It's almost like a strawberry milkshake. There are hints of dragonfruit as well, but it's predominantly cream and strawberry. I'm left with sweet cream washed over my mouth, strawberry on my tongue and lips and dragonfruit on the back of my palate.
Overall, Dragon's Milk is a great, well rounded experience. It's definitely on par with some of the best dragonfruit juices I've had. The cream base in this is fantastic as well. It's wonderfully creamy, with a mild sweetness and great flavor. The mouthfeel is quite nice and there is little to no throat hit. I've had this juice in my daily rotation for a few days now and it'll probably stay there for a few more. Really nicely done. It really makes me want to try TBD's other creamy offerings.
