Abyss is a simple and straightforward juice. It's honeydew and cream, nothing fancy. Now that's not to say that it's not good, it's pretty tasty. The honeydew is the dominant flavor and it tastes pretty spot on to its real life counterpart. It's sweet with slight hints of melon earthiness. It's not as sweet and juicy as I've experienced in other honeydew juices and I suspect the cream has something to do with that. The cream is on the lighter side and sort of softens the honeydew a bit on the exhale. It also adds to the mouthfeel, but I wouldn't quite call it creamy. It kind of thickens things up a bit and gives it a smoothness. The juice has a nice flavor intensity to it, I'd say slightly above mid. The inhale is pretty much all honeydew. It's sweet with mild earthy notes and a slight juiciness. It has a really bright pop on the backend. On the exhale the honeydew is washed in a light cream. It mixes well and tones down the melon a bit. The cream comes close to matching the intensity of the honeydew and makes for a smooth finish. I'm left with sweet honeydew lingering on my palate.
Overall, Abyss delivers a quality honeydew experience. It's not the best I've had, but it's still rather good. The honeydew flavor is very accurate. I'd have liked it to have a bit more creaminess to it though. If you're a fan of honeydew, this juice is definitely worth a try. Especially at Predator's price point.
