So this was a fun / challening juice for me to review. I'm a big fan of tobacco vapes and I feel they don't get enough love in the industry. The Studio Brand is a new company that is targeting smokers and recent ex-smokers primarily. As a reviewer I had to keep this in mind. Also, the blend is 50/50, which honestly I think fits in to their motif. (I personally much prefer the heavy VG liquids as I drip exclusively).
First off, the smell of this juice... I mean it smelled so good i honestly don't want to vape it all so that I could periodically just take in the smells. Slightly toasted caramel mixed with a graham cracker and tobacco - these flavors meld together beautifully.
The flavor? They nailed it. It's got a very robust and believable tobacco flavor throughout, and a decent throat hit. The caramel and graham compliment this nicely and give it a full and creamy body along with a pleasant sweetness. It's very relaxing and bold at the same time. I had to lower the wattage a bit to get the "sweet spot" (for me, around 40-50 Watts). I'm extremely impressed at how well this handles in a dripper, typically I get some awful PG taste on 50/50 blends but not with this, it's a very quality juice. How Studio Brand got it to taste this authentic without being a NET is beyond me. It's almost like they found the perfect compromise between NET liquids and the normal tobacco vape flavors that are on the market today. On the exhale you get the signature tobacco dryness/smokiness that leaves just a hint of that dry / ash taste on your mouth blending with the creamy sweetness of the caramel. It's slight, but honestly enjoyable and makes the product that more alluring for those looking for more of a realistic tobacco vape.
For the target they are going for, I would highly recommend. For those of us who enjoy tobacco flavors and have been quit for a while - I still think it holds up as long as you know there is a bolder more realistic tobacco flavor here, it's honestly not something I'm used to tasting in a lot of the juices on the market today. So it gets points for uniqueness and accomplishing what it set out to do, I think a recently converted smoker / tobacco lover would ADV this with ease. If you are a vaper that enjoys the dessert tobaccos and the flavors that have mild tobacco, this might be too much for you.
An excellent entry in the realm of tobacco flavors, but definitely targeting a specific niche.
