I don't know what Mr. E is supposed to be, but it's a really good lemon flavored juice. Blue Dot has kept the intended flavor a secret and made a little guessing game out of it. I find it to be a sort of cross between lemon pez and a lemon poppy seed muffin. The lemon is sweet, leaning more on the candied side and there is a cakey kind of creaminess on the exhale that reminds me of a lemon poppyseed muffin. The inhale is all lemon, candied and sweet. It is really smooth and has a slight dryness to it. It tastes pretty spot on to lemon pez. The exhale brings on a creaminess that combines with the lemon. It's rather similar to lemon pound cake or a lemon poppy seed muffin. I think it tastes just like Trader Joe's greek yogurt lemon poppy seed muffins. The exhale has a bit more body to it and the dryness that the inhale had is no longer present. The exhale is smooth and creamy through to the end with one last burst of sweet lemon on the way out. I'm left with a great sweet lemon taste that lingers on my palate.
Overall, Mr. E is pretty fantastic. I'm curious what the intended flavor is supposed to be, but I'm fine not knowing all the same. The lemon is really well done in this juice. It's sweet and smooth and has a real lemon flavor minus the tartness. I really enjoy the creamy lemon exhale as it reminds me of a lemon poppy seed muffin, which happens to be one of my favorites. I'll definitely be adding another bottle of this on my next Blue Dot order so I can continue trying to solve the mystery.
