Rumblepup is premium priced, so I waited on a few reviews before ordering. Since my wife is from Mexico, I know all about Tres Leches cake. Actually I get it quite often, it's good to be me :-) There's good tres leches, & there's plenty of bad. Word to the wise before you buy, make sure you're not throwing money away on crap cake.
I agree with sc0lm00, can tres leches start trending the juice market so we can see who can do it best? I'm game to try them all out!!
Rumblepup's take on the flavor is done pretty well, and I find it curious how he blended it with pear & orange. It's quite unique to say the least. The inhale is a huge milky, tres leches hit. It's nice and smooth & pretty damn enjoyable. The exhale is very dominant pear with a citrus kicker. The milky flavor is still there, but it is much less noticeable as the pear has pretty much taken over.
I would have scored this one higher if my exhale had more milky cake to it. All in all it's a great juice that's worthy of the reviews it has received so far. People who are a fan of the pear juices will love this flavor as it is very different from just a straight pear juice. It is also a definite go-to when you're tired of the same 'ol, same 'ol. Finally, the clouds this juice provides could be a little better in my opinion.
Now I'll wait & hope someone else decides to give tres leches a shot in their juice profile...............
