Fresh Review - This is another fruity juice that I end up liking quite a bit. Don’t let that strawberry-banana in the description fool you, this is a fairly complex juice. I’ll be honest and say that I am really not all that familiar with dragon fruit. It just isn’t a super available/super popular fruit here. Most of my experience with that flavor comes from sports drinks, and I’m not trusting those to be super accurate. With that in mind, I feel like I’m getting the berries on the inhale and the creamy stuff on the exhale. So, the inhale starts with pomegranate and strawberry, but definitely more focus on the pomegranate than the strawberry. A really nice mixture of tart and sweet. As the inhale finishes, I get a bite from what I think is the dragon fruit. It’s kind of reminiscent of kiwi, but a bit less pungent and a bit creamier. As the exhale begins I get a fading taste of the pomegranate, which quickly hides behind the dragon fruit with a light, creamy banana backing it up. I honestly feel like the strawberry and banana are just a compliment to this juice that sweetens up the otherwise tart combination. Really tasty. I’m interested to see how this juice has changed in a month.
Aged Review - Not a whole lot of change to this one with time. The banana may have come out just a little bit on the exhale. I feel like I’m noticing it a bit more than I was on a fresh bottle. It’s still just a compliment to the dragon fruit for me. It’s pretty easy for me to pick apart the individual flavors. I taste the strawberry right away on the inhale, but it’s quickly hidden behind pomegranate. The exhale begins with more pomegranate and then a quick little taste of a banana cream flavor that smooths it out, but disappears behind dragon fruit. The finish is most a mix of pomegranate and dragon fruit with just a touch of sweetness from the banana. This is another one that I really end up liking a lot. Probably not a Top 5 juice, but definitely one that I’ll keep around.
