Elixir 05 is a nice refreshing take on a citrus soda. The addition of blueberry gives it a sweet edge and the ice brings a pleasant cooling effect that elevates it further. It's a relatively smooth vape considering it has citrus, lime, menthol/koolada and a slight carbonation. Everything works together very well and there's not really one flavor that dominates the others. They all sort of come together to create one singular flavor containing all the ingredients. For me, the addition of the ice is what makes this juice stand out. It's got just the right amount of cool, it's definitely noticeable but not overbearing or distracting. A very welcome and refreshing addition. On the inhale I'm initially struck with a citrus blend that begins to impart a mild to medium cooling effect midway through. On the backend I begin to taste some sweet lime and there is also a little carbonation tingle going on. The blueberry starts to become present on the rest before the exhale. All the flavors seem to merge together on the exhale and create a sort of citrusy blueberry lime soda. All the elements are pretty even keel and blend pretty seemlessly. The cooling effect has diminished but is still present and there is a slight effervescence as well. I get a little tart lime that hits the tip of my tongue on the way out and am left with a citrusy blueberry taste and a lingering cooling sensation.
Overall I found Elixir 05 to be a rather tasty and refreshing experience. The flavors are all represented and work quite well together. The cooling element from the ice is perfect and really makes this juice pop. It's a little more unique than some of the other citrus and berry juices out there and implements some welcome additions. It's quite refreshing on a hot day and enjoyable anytime. I can definitely see this making its way into my rotation.
