I hesitated on doing this review until I was really certain. I was really hyped about getting this flavor, since I'm an Eggo addict and work in a coffee shop.
The intake is thick caramel with a creamy feel. It doesn't taste sickeningly sweet, like some caramel can, but rather like a thick caramel drizzle over milk. If you hold it in for a second, you start tasting the coffee -- about what you'd get if you ordered "regular." It's coffee with cream and sugar. Not overly laden with condiments, but enough that you can enjoy the coffee taste without bitterness. Then the waffle comes in, kind of in the background, but you can definitely taste it while you exhale. My SO says he can even taste the butter on the waffle, but for me it's more of a complementary breakfast flavor to the more dominant coffee. After you exhale, you're left with a creamy taste with a hint of caramel.
I was a bit skeptical on "cappuccino" as a flavor, to start. A cappuccino is just espresso and steamed milk with extra foam, rather than a latte with espresso, mostly milk, and a little foam, or a cafe au lait with brewed coffee and steamed milk and little foam. That said, I was pretty pleased with the actual flavor of the "cappuccino" -- thick and milky without being overly creamy, but also being coffee-forward. There's a lot of comments about the coffee flavor in this, just thought I might add to it.
It's definitely not a burnt, gas station coffee flavor. If you haven't had a legit cappuccino from a coffee shop, think more along the lines of a creamy bottled iced coffee.
As a coffee person, I liked it a lot. As a coffee shop worker, it reminded me of a summer offering we have. My SO doesn't like coffee or bitterness at all, and he's actually requested it in his vape from time to time. I think it's a really solid juice that will appeal to a lot of people.
