I've been to New Orleans and of course swung by Cafe du Monde for their famous beignets and chicory coffee. I've even made my own beignets at home as they are quite a treat. They are basically little triangle pockets of dough that are deep fried and then covered in powdered sugar, very light, chewy warm sugary goodness.
I think it's great that CCC made a flavor like this, it just seems to fit.
And it is definitely the best beignet flavor I've tried. It's simple, but it works. The start of the exhale brings the baked doughy taste and the end of the exhale is all powdered sugar. I typically don't care too much for sugared vapes, but this is true to form and it's not overdone. It's very good and is captures the taste of powdered sugar surprisingly well.
The dough part is close, but not perfect. It's a nice flavor but just doesn't quite get that deep fried sort of flavor down pat in my opinion. This also vapes just a bit lighter than I'd expect. Lighter as in density, richness. It's not as rich as it could be, which isn't necessarily a negative more than just an opinion.
The flavor intensity here is a 5 or 6 out of 10, it's not heavy and not overdone so I'd think you could vape this one for extended periods. I was afraid it would be too sugary and it's just right.
Good stuff, if you are interested in this flavor profile you can't go wrong with this.
