The Wild One is described as a wild berry strudel with a vanilla frosting. Like with Blue Harvest, this one has a high level of flavor intensity and is strong on the berries. I'm getting a nice tart raspberry (or perhaps blackberry or both), strawberries, and blueberries. They all taste very good--a nice sugary, almost jammy, mix of fruit, very similar to the typical strudel filling. The berry most present seems to be the sweet, tart raspberry/blackberry. I think it's mainly the tart nature brings it forward more over the other berries. The dry pastry crust is definitely there, but light and in the background. It's a slight doughiness on the inhale, but gets even lighter in the exhale. I'm fine with that. Even further in the background there's also a sugary sweet vanilla glaze that adds to the already sweet berry mix, but I'd love to have seen more of it. Overall, The Wild One is a good berry pastry, strong on the berry.
