While ordering my ADV’s Brûlee & Bananas Foster, I ran across this one. Dubbed as a “crisp buttermilk waffle drenched in syrup, topped with carmelized cinnamon apples & a dallop of whipped cream”.
Ok, I’ll bite. That’s right up my alley when it comes to a juice, so I splurged on a 30ml to try.
This juice is heavy fruit on both inhale & exhale. It’s a strong apple flavor. It’s not that I’m disappointed in the apple as I’m a fan of the apple vapes like Slevin & Bettie, but I was hoping for something more like the description. As it turns out, what you get is an apple vape that is slightly spicy. I don’t think I would call the spice cinnamon, it’s more of a minty type of spice. There is a slight touch of cream on the back end.
As it turns out, the apple dominates the vape, pretty much lost are any hints of syrup, waffles or anything “carmelized”. Even though there are touches of a syrup, the apple is the main player by far. Kind of a bummer considering the ADV’s from GSV are such home runs. I guess I was hoping for a lot more - and admittedly my expectations were probably too high.
All in all this is a decent vape, but I probably won’t reorder it due to better options with other apple vapes I order elsewhere that I mentioned. This juice, like the rest from GSV I’ve tried, blows huge clouds.
