Bird never ceases to amaze me with the quality of their flavors and the uniqueness. I don't doubt this will be one of their best sellers within the year.

Caveat: Personally I've never had a sesame ball. Even had to Google it to find out what it was. So I can't speak to the accuracy of the flavor. While I also don't like raspberry most of the time, Bird really nailed it here. Probably the best raspberry prominent flavor I've tried. It is a very crisp and natural raspberry with just a slight amount of sweetness in the end.

Sesame balls, according to google, use a rice flour for the pastry part and are coated in sesame seeds. I get a slight amount of a rice flavor but the sweetness of the raspberry comes in and almost creates a slight jelly feel. Combined I keep noticing hints of a donut flavor. Now this isn't a donut flavor overall but at times I get some strong jelly donut feelings from the flavors. Maybe because I have no frame of reference for sesame balls? Only other thing I notice is a slight flavor of sesame oil. Sometimes initially and sometimes on the exhale.

Overall I think this nails my impression of what sesame balls would taste like after some doing some research. It's more of a bakery flavor overall with slight touches of raspberry jelly, donut, and fresh raspberry. No part of it is unbalanced or not well thought out. Very much worth your time to try.

Another flavor-quest from Bird.

This is a savory flavor with a subtle rush of sweet raspberry jam. There’s a nuttiness from the sesame that’s reminiscent of amarguinha (a Portuguese almond liqueur), a fried dough element that’s on the mellow side, and a succulent raspberry filling. All of the elements in this liquid play off of each other wonderfully. This juice has a subtly to it, and definitely tastes best in a flavor-focused build in an RDA or an RDTA.

At high wattage, the fried dough flavor becomes more prominent on the inhale. It’s a flaky pastry dough that isn’t overly fried or oily like a lot of “fried dough” liquids. The earthy nuttiness of the sesame seeds becomes less sweet and the raspberry jam starts to taste more tart and less syrupy. There’s also an understated sweet dryness that creeps up at times when vaping this liquid: possibly powdered sugar.

At lower wattage, things start to calm down a bit and sweet nuttiness takes a back seat to raspberry jam. The flavors themselves are very realistic in an eerily familiar way. I’ve definitely tasted all of the elements in this juice before, but never in this combination.

Overall, this is an enticing liquid, and it’s a compelling experiment from Bird. I can see it becoming an ADV for people who love dessert vapes with savory and fruity/jammy elements to them. It’s not an overly intense experience, which is welcome considering most dessert vapes tend to be flavor bombs loaded with sweetener and flavorings. Bird perfectly nails the balance of nuttiness, doughiness, and syrupy goodness with Sesame Balls.

The cloud production on this is perfect, the throat hit is velvety, and the flavor delivery is exactly where it needs to be for a complex and unique flavor profile such as this.

The juice isn’t gunky at all and runs very clean on all of my set ups, as is the case for all of the Bird liquids I’ve tried.

Sesame Balls sounded unique and interesting and it did not disappoint. Having never had the treat these are inspired by however, I cannot compare the taste to the real thing.

On the inhale there is a lovely pastry flavor, almost like a crispy golden donut lightly dusted with powdered sugar. On the exhale you get a flavor that tastes like a delicious blend of seeds and berries. I had a hard time with the seed/nutty flavor at first, because my brain automatically wants to taste it as peanut butter but that's not right, however it is close in some respects. The nutty flavor isn't sweet or salty like peanuts, but just earthy and savory. The raspberry tastes like a perfect medium between fresh berries and a real jam. It's very flavorful like fresh fruit and slightly sweet, reminiscent of a jam, but it doesn't overpower the sesame or pastry flavor and it doesn't taste like overly sweet syrup or sugar.

This liquid is a wonderful bridge between sweet and savory for me, and as someone who prefers dessert vapes, but finds many of the dessert liquids on the market slightly too sweet, this is a welcome addition.

If you like sweet flavors but want something a little different, with a little bit of savory mixed in, this juice hits the spot. I highly recommend it.
