Review: As with my review of April Moon by Alice in Vapeland, this juice is very well blended, there is no great variation between the flavour profile of the inhale and the exhale. A characteristic of blending very few juice lines seem to have, and one I really do enjoy. The flavour is, as the manufacturer states, a cupcake (or maybe cheesecake) with a very definite strawberry icing flavour. And not the cheapo icing you get from budget corner shop cupcakes, but the good stuff. There is a slight under current of what I place as raspberry or maybe ripe plums.
The inhale has a very light flavour, almost too light for some, but on the exhale this flavour really begins to stretch it’s halituous legs, and the flavour intensity really jumps up a notch for a satisfying end. It all works together very well in my mind. This flavour is not a bruiser that leaves you gasping, but is more delicate and light, as I also found with April Moon. Possibly a characteristic of the Alive in Vapeland juice line, but as I work my way through the 7 of their flavours I am in possession of, that will become more clear.
A nice light flavour that does exactly what it says on the tin. A bit light for some, but perfect for others. It really depends what you are looking for in a flavour. Absolutely something I would consider an All Day Vape.
Flavour: 7 / 10
PG/VG ratio: Alive in Vapeland declined to tell me the ratio. I noticed they didn’t specify it on the website, so I inquired via email. To quote the response, “I am ever so sorry, we do not disclose our ratios. I can reveal that a vast majority of our flavors are higher on the VG side of things”. Personally, by judging the viscosity of the juice by eye, it seemed to me closer to the PG heavy side of the ratio as it was quite thin. That being said, there wasn’t the particularly powerful throat hit associated with PG heavy juices, so I really can’t say one way or the other.
Affordability: ~£0.60 per ml (at time of writing)
