Based on the smell of the juice itself, I would have expected a sickly-sweet taste to be embedded into my tongue for the rest of the day. This was definitely not the case, and Black PomPom has become one of my favorite fruit blends.
The draw was very flavorful. It was sweet, but mildly so. There's hint of black currant tea right on the tip of the tongue. The exhale was very complex with black currant tea, grape, pomegranate, and just a small highlight of lemon citrus. Through the nose there was stronger black currant, fresh red grape (think real grapes; not the genetically modified ones you get at a supermarket), warm pomegranate, and still just a hint of lemon citrus. Again, The Vapor Chef brings much more of an organic fruit flavor, so everything tastes fresh. There isn't much of a lingering taste; maybe a little bit of the black currant, and a hint of the lemon.
I have to say, this vapor is almost identical to smoking a nice, fruity, grape-based sheesha from a hookah. Its very refreshing, very strong tasting, however, it's not overpowering at all; very complex. It makes for a great all day vape; it's great with a cup of black tea any time you want to wind down a bit; it pairs very well with a glass of port wine; and it's even great to bring to a hookah bar.
