Tony over at Indigo Vapor sent this to me, it's a new and as of yet not-for-sale tobacco blend he's working on. He said it was one of his all time favorites so I was giddy at the chance to sample it.
However, he won't tell me what's in it :) Said it was very complex, and that's about it. When I first got it out of the mail, it smelled of alcohol. I took a vape and it was very sweet, in a good way, but I couldn't place what it was. Now it has steeped for a few weeks, that alcohol smell is gone, and it has a very nice almost familiar smell to it that unfortunately I still cannot for the life of me place.
It doesn't vape exactly like it smells, but it is absolutely incredible. The Stuff is built off of his signature tobacco blend, but this one definitely is at a higher level than his other offerings (which is saying a lot). Similar to #42 in feel, but in my opinion even smoother and more balanced. I still don't know what is all in it, and honestly I don't even care. On the inhale I get a slight smokiness, and on the exhale it completely turns around into a nicely sweet, incredibly smooth, lightly nutty and almost creamy taste. As the exhale continues it leaves you with a touch of that signature tobacco and just a very slight note of dark chocolate on the tongue. If I had to guess, I'd say the sweetness was coming from a brown sugar, but it's got more in it than that. My wife thinks perhaps a bit of butterscotch or caramel. It doesn't leave an impression as a dessert tobacco, at least not overtly so. It's such a smooth and relaxing and enjoyable blend. Anyone that is a fan of Indigo's tobaccos absolutely needs to try this. It's hitting the spot for me in this fall weather.
Smooth, silky, slightly creamy and just the right amount of sweet layered in with his signature tobacco flavor that doesn't overpower, this is one of the best tobacco flavors I've tried yet.
