I received this bottle in a sampler kit from Blue Dot Vapors, it had been produced approximately three weeks before date of arrival.

There are two very distinct types of key lime pie in this world. The first is the artificial, fake key lime pie. You know the one; filling tinted some radioactive green color, dolloped with an inordinate amount of whipped topping to mask the fact that they used lemon juice as a poor substitute for actual key lime juice, sickeningly sweet and typically overpriced. Then there's the real deal; the curd a pale greenish-yellow tint, redolent of the scent of fresh lime zest, with a petite little rosette of proper whipped creme on the top as to not hide the interplay of the tart, sweet-sour flavor of real key lime juice and the dependably delicious yet utilitarian flavor of the graham cracker foundation beneath. It makes your tastebuds prickle and zing with acidic authenticity and forever burns into your memory the difference between the faux pie and the bona fide dessert.

Somewhat disappointingly, this juice falls right in between those two, and in doing so, can only be considered average at best.

Straight out of the bottle, take a whiff of this juice and you get hit with a lovely tang of fresh lime and a strong backbone of the graham cracker. Honestly, I wish I could wear it as a cologne, perhaps with a little bit of bay rum as a kicker. Dripping it onto my wicks and taking a good toke, the flavor I'm hit with is definitely on the good end of key lime pie. There's a strong flavor of graham cracker, and a nice tart whiff of the citrus, with just a touch of cream to smooth the rough edges.

However, one thing that kept striking me as I took subsequent hits is an off-putting... bitter, almost spicy note to the exhale. If you've ever tasted the zest of a citrus where they inadvertently dug into the pith, you'd know exactly what I'm talking about. It's so pronounced that it ultimately takes the spotlight away from the pleasant flavor of the key lime and makes you feel like scrubbing your tongue. I'd almost, almost swear they added a tiny hint of coconut milk to the juice in lieu of or in addition to the whipped cream/custard flavor. While it isn't a deal breaker for myself personally, it doesn't scream key lime pie the way I'd like it to. Also to note: If you're using this juice in an RDA, the key lime flavor diminishes much, much faster than the graham flavor does, until you hit it with a few more drips. Not sure if that was intended, but it was noticeable enough to mention.

I'm going to let this flavor steep for another week in my little cabinet of potential, and amend this review at that point.

Bonus Trivia: The image that Blue Dot uses for this particular juice on their store page shows slices of Persian limes (IE, regular limes) instead of actual Key limes. Doesn't affect the juice at all, but I thought it was amusing.

Unfortunately, this did not give me a true key lime taste that I was hoping for but hell more than half of all key lime pies in the bakery section and restaurants don’t either. I will say that Omega gave it a run for its money though and was a very enjoyable vape overall. The main flavor is the key lime-alike taste that comes with a nice bit of tart. Overall I didn’t notice much of a coconut flavor but more of a lightly-sweet cream-cheese mixed with it.

This is a moderately tart KeyLime vape with the added tang and creaminess of yogurt. If you like your key-lime without the pie crust (as I do) this is a good vape - keylime, cream and yogurt tang on both inhale and exhale.

This is a smooth not very tart Key Lime mixed with cheesecake. Inhale is mostly a semi sweet Key Lme and a hint of darker flavor I suppose if graham cracker, Exhale is way more Key Lime with distinct undertones of cheesecake (DL) The lime is not overly tart, and citrus livers may be disappointed. This is more a desert, smooth creamy vape

a smooth apricot and key lime with cream undertone. more on the subtle side overall, its not overwhelming. its sweet. the key lime has this herby off taste to it, hence spiced for third category - i like it, but i wish it isnt as strong, sometimes it comes ahead of the apricot.

not adv worthy for me but it fills the niche of "hmm i want fruity but dont want sweet" and good for spacing out on a lazy afternoon with... its just that kinda flavor for some reason. it grew on me overtime...

seems thicker and clouds are better now, i think even after shaking i still skimmed the water up top... still its got throat hit despite being 0mg. gunks coils just a little bit, no/very little sweetener in it, just the cream.

Do you like key lime pie? Do you like creamy yogurt with a subtle vanilla taste? If you answered "yes" to both of these questions, then this is a juice worth getting. It tastes exactly like key lime pie - crumbly crust and all - with some creamy, delicate vanilla yogurt on the side. Solid rendition of the dessert. Nice clean consistency. Won't gunk up your coils. Great taste, and shockingly accurate. UV sent a note with the bottle telling me to steep this for two weeks, but I couldn't make it past like 11 days. So it will only get better, even though it doesn't need to.

Key Lime & Coconut sounds like a pretty simple and straightforward combination, and it is for the most part. I’m not exactly sure what 123 was aiming for with this juice as their flavor descriptions are minimal. I have a feeling they were going for the drink Lime in the Coconut as the picture on their website shows a drink in a glass, but what I taste is something like a lime and coconut cheesecake. Needless to say, I wasn’t expecting anything resembling cheesecake when I first tried this, but there’s definitely a cheesecake vibe to it. It’s got sweet lime and coconut riding atop a semi creamy and somewhat tangy cheesecake layer. The key lime tastes like the actual fruit. It’s sweet with an acidic and citrusy tang. The coconut is more akin to coconut water or fresh coconut meat as opposed to coconut milk. The cheesecake like layer is fairly soft and creamy and has a cheesecake tang to it. It makes a great base for the fruit flavors and works really well. The overall flavor intensity is on the milder side. It’s fairly subdued but in a way that keeps it enticing. On the inhale I get mild key lime atop a soft and creamy cheesecake. The lime is sweet with a fair acidity to it as well. There is a mild coconut that comes in on the backend. The lime has a bit of a bright pop to begin the exhale and then tapers off into a a mix of coconut and cheesecake. The coconut is at its most pronounced at the end of the exhale. I’m left with the taste of tangy lime and a mild coconut.

Overall, I rather enjoy Key Lime & Coconut despite it not being what I expected. It’s a milder juice but I find it works to its advantage, giving it an enticing quality. The key lime flavor is pretty on point and it has nice level of acidity. The unexpected cheesecake like flavor makes a great base layer for the coconut and lime. Everything works together quite well and makes for a satisfying experience.

It's easy to see why this juice has such a great reputation here and in other vaping communities. I'm a big fan of key lime pie, to which this juice is often compared, though I don't see that as a prerequisite for enjoyment because this stuff is better in some ways than even the best key lime pie I've eaten.

When I first vaped this juice, the lime flavor was super-accurate and out in front, in many ways like biting into an actual lime wedge. While that was tolerable it was also very sharp, making this far from an all-day vape. After steeping just a couple days the lime flavor softened into a candy-like experience, and it was then that the creaminess was revealed, along with the most exquisite and realistic pie crust flavor. The sweetness of this juice has a cloying nature to it, so I'll need to take a break from it for awhile before reordering, but reorder I certainly will.

This is great tasting WTA liquid. Heavy key lime cheesecake flavors with hints of coconut, and it hits great. Would recommend to anyone else looking for flavored WTA liquids. Sweet and a little tart. Smooth vape.

I'm a big fan of key lime pie, it's probably my favorite kind of pie. The combo of creamy lime and graham crust just tastes so damn good to me. Duval's Delight does a great job on the latter of the two components, but the lime just seems to fall short. Key lime pie is typically fairly lime forward with a thin graham crust playing a supporting role. This juice seems to be the exact opposite. The lime is present, but it's light and seems to get overwhelmed by the buttery graham crust. Now, the crust ascpect tastes really good. It's a pretty spot on graham cracker pie crust. And not like a pre-made store bought kind of crust, but more like a homemade one. It's got a good graham cracker flavor along with buttery and nutty notes. There is also a creaminess present that adds a nice dense mouthfeel. Now if there was only more than hints of lime to be found... The overall flavor intensity is around mid range and there is a light sweetness. On the inhale I get an initial hint of sweet lime that gets swallowed up in a buttery graham crust. There is a soft creaminess that comes in on the backend. The exhale is more buttery graham crust with notes of nuttiness atop a mild creamy layer. I'm left with the taste of a nutty graham cracker crust.

Overall, Duval's Delight falls short on its promised flavors. I mean, I want some lime in my key lime pie! The crust flavor is really well done and I imagine if there was actually more lime present in here it would combine to create a pretty stellar experience. I have seen some reviews that claim to be getting more lime flavor than I seem to be. Unfortunately I just don't seem to find it anywhere no matter the setup. It still gets points for being a pretty tasty juice because the graham crust flavor is rather delicious. It's just not the full flavor that's advertised.
