Blondie is a wonderfully tasty and creamy vanilla custard. Not too strong, but definitely full on flavor. The primary flavor is a delicious vanilla custard, thick and creamy. There is a hint of egginess, as is typical of many true custards, but it's not overwhelming and it works very well with the mix. Throughout the inhale and exhale there is a very light tartness in the background. The fruit is difficult to identify because it's so subtle, but there is definitely something there in the background. Overall Blondie is a very nice vape. Probably my favorite, right next to Bebe, of Centerfold's line up.

The flavor from Indigo Vapor was one of the better lemon-centric juices I've tried. You can see my review for more information on the specific juice. As far as service, the juice arrived very quickly, the communication was on par, and the owner is active and gives back to the community by supporting the weekly ECR poker tourney.

My only minor complaint is the price. I'm not sure I'd pay the money to buy Indigo's juice regularly, however, if you get a chance and want to try something different it's totally worth a try.

I'm baaack! Well, for a couple of reviews anyway. Since dipping my toes into DIY I haven't had the opportunity to try new commercial juices to review. But I decided to try a couple of new juices thanks to a giveaway and coming in 4th in the ECR poker tournament. Battered Drop is what I picked up with the tourney winnings.

I love lemon bakery foods. I could eat lemon cake and lemon poppy seed muffins every day if it wouldn't be a surefire way to gain weight. Battered Drop is a very well-done vanilla cupcake with lemon icing. When I cracked the juice open I had actually forgot what I had ordered. When I first took a drag on it I was immediately surprised and my initial thought was lemon cake. After a few drags the whole profile really begins to come together. A nice, fluffy vanilla cupcake topped with a sweet, sugary lemon frosting. My primary complaint is the lemon from the frosting gets a little too "zesty" at the very end of the exhale. It's hard to describe but if you've ever tasted lemon zest before you know what I'm talking about. However, this is common in almost every lemon forward juice I've tried... including the DIY I make. It's not noticeable enough to knock down the rating much and it's still worth trying, but it's there if you are looking for it.

Overall, despite the minor knock, I'm very satisfied with how well this vapes and it is something if I had the recipe to I'd vape all the time.

Mango Solero Ice Cream is the last flavor from the Vapechemy giveaway and it's my least favorite, yet still very good. The description says the mango is the star of the show, however, I think it's nearly an even balance between the mango and raspberry. The raspberry is a nice sweet raspberry, with a slight hint of tart--not quite as tart as a natural raspberry. Mango is there and is definitely forward. It's a nice naturally juicy and ripe mango, delicious sweet and lightly tart. There's also some strawberry in there, but the mango and mango overpowers it a bit. The addition of the creams used, reminds me of orange Dreamsicles, but with mango and raspberry in place of the orange. It's actually a really delicious flavor.

There's a decent amount of sweetener in the recipe making it a very sweet flavor, without being too overly sweet. But because of the higher level of sweetener this one is going to kill your coils quicker than juices with no or just a little bit of sweetener.

Venom is described as a take on the "whole Snake Oil profile." I had no idea what that was. Fortunately the recipes of each Vapechemy flavor is posted on their page--read my Vapechemy business review for more on this--so I get to see what's in it before I order. Pear, strawberry, coconut, butter cream, and custard are all elements of the recipe so I figured it sounded good. Trust me, Venom is not only good. It's fan-friggin-tastic. The pear is a deliciously juicy and ripe pear. The strawberry, the main and most forward fruit in Venom, is in between a natural strawberry and strawberry salt-water taffy. It's a nice sweet strawberry with a touch of artificialness. Normally I'd count that against it, but it works extremely well in this mix for some odd reason. The butter cream and custard is surprisingly light. But, again, it works and delivers nice touch of creamy vanilla sweetness. I'm missing two flavors to make the flavor for myself, but you better believe the next DIY order I make will include those two flavors, because Venom is an extremely good creamy fruit vape... one of the best ones I've ever had.

Venom is a creamy watermelon and honeydew. The melons, unfortunately, don't come off as having a very natural flavor. It's more of a candied taste and mouthfeel, with a grainy texture almost like a pixie stick. For a candy it's not bad, but I was hoping for a natural tasting honeydew and watermelon. There is a bit of very light cream on the backend of the vape, which serves to sweeten and smooth out the vape a touch, but not much of a creamy taste as the artificial melons seem to takeover any of the melon taste. Overall, Moneydew Cream is decent candy, but don't expect it to be a good naturally ripe tasting melon and cream.

Show Us Your Melons is a very juicy and creamy honeydew and cantaloupe juice. The melons are very authentic and VERY juicy, with the cantaloupe being the primary melon in the mix. On the inhale a strong mix of cantaloupe and honeydew, sweet and ever-so-lightly tart. On the exhale a light vanilla ice cream joins the melons into a fantastic mix of lip smacking flavors. Show Us Your Melons is a fantastic melon and vanilla cream melody. Definitely worth picking up or mixing on your own (the recipe is on the Vapechemy website).

After the Party is another rich vanilla custard. But this one is much lighter and smoother than the Vapechemy Butterscotch Custard I reviewed earlier. The vanilla custard in After the Party has a very little egginess, but it's a nice light vanilla custard and more reminiscent of a mix between a vanilla custard and french vanilla ice cream--light and smooth. The vanilla ice cream aspect comes out most on the exhale. Also on the exhale, along with the custard, there is a sweet, light sugar cookie that adds a nice sugary kick and thickness to the vape. After the Party is a wonderful vanilla custard that has you coming back for me. Before I realized it I already had two tanks down.

A wonderfully rich butterscotch and vanilla custard, with just a hint of dulce de leche and brown sugar. BC is creamy but also thick and heavy. In my opinion, the magic here is Inerawa's Shisha Vanilla with Capella's Vanilla Custard, two of my favorite vanilla based flavors to work with in my own DIY flavors. It brings the vanilla forward and makes it the star of the show, as opposed to the butterscotch. A very nice confectionary butterscotch is definitely there, but I think it takes a back seat to the vanilla. Butterscotch Custard is a very sweet and rich flavor and can sometimes be a little much on the first couple drags, but it quickly evens out into a very tasty treat.

Vapechemy is a unique e-juice vendor. First, they're based in Lithuania so it takes awhile to get to you if you're outside Lithuania like my US-based-self. Second, they solicit the many DIY'ers out there on the internet to post their own recipes in exchange for revenue sharing (each DIY'er who posts a recipe on their website will receive X% of the sales revenue). Many DIY'ers from /r/DIY_eJuice, ELR, ATF, etc. have posted their recipes, so Vapechemy has a large selection of independently developed recipes available to purchase.

It's an interesting concept for sure. Anyway, they recently had a giveaway and I will be reviewing the flavors I have received. Remember, these recipes are not developed by Vapechemy themselves, so this review is only about the company itself. For my thoughts on the individual juices, see the reviews when I post them soon. I will say that I tried one and it was great. It took about 5 weeks to receive my order, but keep in mind they had a huge giveaway and separated by 4,500+ miles and an ocean. I received the juice with no leaks and it looks like everything is in order.

Coffee juices are difficult to get right. They often have a bit of burnt bitterness that goes beyond the natural bitterness of a fresh cup of properly brewed coffee and have an odd grainy mouthfeel, sort of like a cup of coffee that has a considerable amount of sediment in it. There is a bit of both in Five AM, but it's just a hint of it and it seems to fade and get smoother the longer I vape it. Other than that it's a decent coffee vape, a nice bright thick dark roast with a savory earthy bitterness and natural sweetness. There is a cream that helps smooth and balance out the bitterness and graininess by adding a nice little element of creamy sweetness. The bourbon is there, but it seems to fade in and out of the exhale, but it's light and you have to look for it. Five AM is a good, above average coffee vape and definitely worth a try if you like coffee vapes.

Based off the pineapple in Palms I figured I wouldn't like Paradise as much, but Paradise is a really good pineapple cooler juice. The pineapple is the primary flavor and not quite artificial or candied, although there's a hint of that. Paradise leans more toward the canned crushed pineapple. It's sweet, tart, and tasty. I could be wrong, but I think I'm also picking up a hint of another citrus--likely a lime or lemon. There's not really much more to say about Paradise, it's a very simple mix and is a really deliciously refreshingly sweet and tart warm weather vape.

Umba has a lineup of juices with several great juices and a few definite winners. They recently sent out an email to those with open orders letting us know that they had some problems with their label printers, causing some orders to go out a little slow, but from what I've heard they have resolved that issue and are now back at it and getting their orders turned around at their normal time frame (one to three days). Umba's prices are great, making them a great option for those who don't like to spend a whole lot on juice. I've spoke with Ben, one of the members of Umba's team, and he's been a great representative of Umba and always willing to take constructive criticism.

Yum... Unlike the other reviewer I'm a big fan of tart vapes, but I don't think it's so tart that I could see it being a turn off unless you're extra sensitive to tart flavors. Don' get me wrong, Bruises is tart, but it's a nice natural berry tart so it doesn't come off as anything crazy to me. In the berry coulis sauce I'm getting a wonderful berry mix--strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, and perhaps some blackberries are in the mix. A tart and sweet berry sauce--there's almost a jammy feel to it--with a very good grainy oat crumble, with brown sugar and ever-so-light touch of cinnamon, giving it a delectable pastry feel. At some moments, especially at the lower wattages that I vape at, the grainy crumble turns into an almost cereal grain taste. Mixed with the berries, it can be reminiscent of a more berry heavy cereal--like a Cap'n Crunch Berries but better. I've got two more flavors from Umba to try, but Bruises is perhaps my favorite from their lineup. It's delicious!

Tea wasn't in Tropics' profile description, but a fruity floral tea is what I'm getting. I'm not sure if Tropics is supposed to be a tea and Umba just forgot to include that in the flavor description, or if one of the mango or passion fruit flavorings they use in the recipe is just so overly floral and that's what I'm picking up. For a tea it's about average--not bad, but definitely not great either. Immediately on the inhale, besides the floral notes, is a nice kick of tart from the passion fruit. I'm picking up a combination of fruits that vaguely fit the mango profile, but at the same time are not distinctly mango. I'm not sure if my taste buds are being distracted by the floral notes, but mangoes are bright juicy fruits with a wonderfully distinct fruity taste. Tropics is alright for a tart, fruity, floral tea vape. But for a simple mango and passion fruit mix it falls short.

Late Night is a very pleasant minty cherry liqueur juice. With cherry flavors I'm always worried about an off chemical flavor similar to a cough syrup. Late Night has none of that and just may be my favorite cherry flavored vape yet; granted, I haven't had many cherry flavors. The inhale is a cold and smooth spearmint menthol with a mild touch of dark cherry liqueur, much like a grenadine, in the background. The cherry grenadine flavor comes forward in the exhale, bringing a nice sweet fruitiness (and a surprisingly juiciness) to the front of the vape. The spearmint menthol is not overpowering at all. It's not a light menthol that is so subtle that there's nothing to it either. It's a nice refreshing menthol blast that cools the entire tongue and mouth. Overall, Late Night is actually a quite tasty vape, despite not being a regular minty vaper myself.

Forester is described as a "almond and hazelnut praline" and it ticks all those boxes: Nutty... Check. Buttery... Check. Creamy... Check. Vanilla... Check. Caramelized sugar... Check. The inhale is a silky smooth combination of buttery caramelized sugar and delectable vanilla. The hazelnut is light and seems to be there to add to its smooth creamy texture. Near the end of inhale and all the way through the exhale the toasted almonds add a wonderful earthy, mildly smoky, background taste that brings a bit of complexity to the mix. The combination of vanilla, nuts, and caramel in Forester is, in many ways, reminiscent to the toffee-fudge in Umba's Stay Gold. I wouldn't be terribly surprised if it shares a few elements in the recipe, sans the apple and kicking up the buttery creamy nuttiness. Forester is a rich and enjoyable praline vape that's silky smooth all the way through. If you like rich confectionary style vapes, Umba has created a definite winner with Forester.

DB's Silly Rabbit is described a "light, fruity blend" and is placed within the cereal category on DB's website, so combined with the name, the category it was placed in, and the flavor description I was expecting Trix cereal. "Light" is definitely correct. On a scale of 1-10 the flavor intensity is about a 3ish, maybe 3.5 at the most. And I don't get any cereal in Silly Rabbit at all. No elements of cereal grain, no thick cereal mouthfeel, and no milkiness whatsoever. What I'm getting is an almost waxy mouthfeel and a fruity flavor. The fruits fit the citrus and berries flavor profile. The only one I can definitely pick out is the artificial orange. If anything, Silly Rabbit reminds me of Skittles. Since I can vape cereal flavors all day and I'm not much of a candy vaper, it's not for me and I wouldn't have bought it if it was described as a Skittles or fruity candy flavor. Silly Rabbit is actually not bad--perhaps about average--for a Skittles/fruity candy flavor, but it definitely doesn't belong in the cereal category.

I'm typically not a menthol/mint vaper, but Elixir M may have just become my go to nasal decongestant juice. Every time the seasons change, my allergies cause my sinus to practically blow up. It's usually the worst, but a drag of this will clear up your sinuses right quick. It's cold, refreshing, and tastes very good. The primary flavor is definitely the spearmint that reminds me of Wrigley's Spearmint gum. But there's definitely more to it than just the spearmint in this, as there is a big menthol kick that tickles the back of the throat and leaves the tongue and roof of the mouth very chilled. My only complaint--and it's only a minor one--is that there is a ever-so-slight bitterness hanging out in the background that tastes a little off. The slight bitterness doesn't take too much from the juice--it's still very good.

I won a contest from Adirondack, but I have already tried the main flavors from Adirondack that I really wanted to try. They have some other interesting flavors, however, when I saw they carried 2OHM6's line I was intrigued. I had heard about 2OHM6 since I began vaping, and Kheer and Quey had been on my radar from the start. One day I'll pick up a bottle of Kheer, but I decided to go with Quey this time around. At first I was turned off by the cooling aspect of it as I'm not big on cooler vapes... there are some cool juices I like, but they are not what I usually reach for, which is one reason why I'm so impressed with Quey.

Quey is a delicious mix of vanilla, caramel, nuts, herbs, and lime zest. The cooling has a different type of kick than most of the cooler juices out there. The mixing of the vanilla, herbs, and koolada--or perhaps as others have suggested anise, likely a combination of both--turn out a very smooth naturally cool juice to vape. It's really a refreshing combination. The cooling and herbs hit you immediately on the inhale and intensify a bit on the exhale. It's neither overly cool, but I wouldn't call the cooling subtle either. It's sort of right in the middle. At the end of the inhale, you're hit by the thick, rich vanilla ice cream with hefty dose of lime zest adding a pleasing citrus kick. On the exhale the nuts--perhaps almond--and one of the better caramels I've tried smack the taste buds and mix together wonderfully with the vanilla cream, lime zest, and herbs. Quey is an incredibly complex juice and is not like any other juice I've tried before. It has a little bit of everything--from cool, to earthiness, to savory, to citrus, to a touch of sweetness--and honestly has to be tried to understand.
