Bear in mind two things - 1) I'm reviewing this before it's steeped, and I know the flavor complexities Good Life Vapor mixes are best after steeping, and 2) I tried it right alongside Deadly Sin, which is similar, and which I preferred over this one. That said, Bankok Dangerous is advertised as a 'woodsy, nutty tobacco' and although I'm not sure that's how -I'd- describe it, it's still a special flavor. Like GLVs other juices, this is a very complex mixture - they consistently make it hard to 'nail down' what's going on exactly, and that's fun. At it's heart I'd put this more into a dessert category. It's rich and definitely has a baked goods quality to it. Maybe cinnamon roll or sugar cookie? But that's punctuated by something kind of earthy, kind of spicy - and this strange earthy/spicy combo especially comes through in the aftertaste. It's not at all unpleasant, just... hard to figure out. What I don't taste in particular is tobacco, from either this or Deadly Sin, while both are advertised as tobacco-types. But of the two, I guess it's slightly more present here - maybe a Virginia cured tobacco, rolled in molasses and sugar and then dunked in cream, finally adding that odd, mysterious 'spice' in the end. Like I said, it's special. It's just not my all-time favorite from GLV but absolutely good enough to be an ADV (which says a lot for GLV, that even the ones that aren't my favorites are good enough for all day use).

As with so many other GLV flavors, this one is complex and really quite tasty. At its heart - what is that? - pineapple? A hint of orange? Raspberry? A whisper of lemon? It's just really hard to nail it down, but it's a lot of fun to try. I've tried a lot of citrus blends in my years of vaping, and most of the time they taste synthetic, or watered-down and 'incensy'. The worst ones are the 'lemon Pledge' ones, with a terrible aftertaste. I really took a chance ordering this, but went with the reviews, and I'm glad I did. It's fruity and sweet, almost candylike, and the company encouraged me to try it with a touch of menthol, which I did. And I'm glad I did that, too, because that tiny little cool "ahh" at the end of each vape totally accentuated the complex fruity flavors. Also like a lot of GLV flavors, this one seems to taste slightly different (but always good) every time I vape, making it a contender for ADV despite its super-sweetness. It only misses the '10' from me because citrus is still not my #1 go-to flavor, but this is for sure the only citrus I'll ever need, and it beats most of my more preferred flavors from other companies, simply because it's so well-layered and unique.

Can a flavor make you put on pounds? I swear every time I vape this I feel like I'm adding calories. It is so decadently rich and creamy, but also has mysterious little bursts of flavor that are harder to identify. If I absolutely had to describe this in a one-label, generic way, I'd go with "cake batter". But that doesn't do it justice at all. Sure, at its heart, this is a cake flavor, and that taste is clean and concise, and right there doing its rich yummy thing. But all around that flavor are others. Cinnamon? Marshmallow? Cream? Every time I vape, I get a slightly different palette, always good. Other folks say 'Rice Krispy Treat', or 'Cinnamon Bun', but you just can't do justice by trying to pinpoint this flavor. Suffice to say it has become one of my ADVs, and the cloud it makes around you smells like an amazing bakery is hard at work somewhere nearby. I'm getting more positive comments about my 'cloud' than most people get about their cologne or perfume. People want to be around it. And for once, I can say that this one tastes even better than it smells. Big thumbs up. If ratings here went above 10, I'd reserve an 11 or 12 for this product once its steeped, which I'm told brings out the flavors even more. Can't imagine.
Note: No idea on the PG/VG blend percentage - they use a proprietary mix. All I can say is that at first this annoyed me, but I took a chance anyway, and it truly delivers a perfect throat hit and scads of cloud vape, so I'm sold on their combo.
Unlike so many companies who advertise 'special' flavors and then deliver the same generic stuff, Good Life Vapor lives up to their claims of exotic and delicious flavors. The site is easy to navigate and the descriptions, while sometimes mysterious and a little complex, are dead-on and do a great job of describing the mysterious, complex flavors you actually get. Shipping was fast and an e-mail linked me to a USPS tracking page, what more could you want? But in the end, what sets Good Life Vapor apart for me is the overall flavor of the vapes themselves. Obviously I'll review the samples I got individually, but it's rare where I can say that I loved them all and any of them could easily become my ADV. Delicious out of the box, I'm told that letting these bad boys steep just brings out the complexity of the flavors exponentially, so I can't wait. I'm one of those idiots for whom flavor is so important, my ADV for the last several years has been a flavor that can (and does) eat through plastic. I've been trying so hard to get off that flavor (hint: hot cinnamon), and I've finally found a company that can provide the flavor intensity I crave, without that scary factor. You won't regret a sampler, and I almost guarantee you'll be back on their site ordering bigger bottles.
One final note: I was at first literally upset that I couldn't choose my own VG/PG combo. How dare anybody think they know better than my own taste buds and throat do! But once again, I am completely surprised. They nailed vapor and throat hit perfectly with each bottle. It took a leap of faith, but they have my full trust now.
